                LETTER REGARDING CITY OF BOWIE, MD
                                 

                                 
     The City of Bowie, Maryland filed a letter with the Commission with respect to, inter alia, franchise
fee calculations and public, educational, and governmental access channel costs under the Communications Act
of 1934, as amended.  The Commission has answered the City's inquiries in a letter ruling released today by
the Chief, Cable Services Bureau.
