DIGITAL BROADCASTING OVS, LLC OF CALIFORNIA FILES AN APPLICATION FOR
        OPEN VIDEO SYSTEM CERTIFICATION FOR PUERTO RICO


     Pursuant to 47 C.F.R.  76.1502, Digital Broadcasting OVS, LLC of California ("DBOVS") filed an
application for Open Video System certification on July 20, 1998.  Comments are due to be filed with the
Office of the Secretary and the Office of the Bureau Chief, Cable Services Bureau, on or before July  24, 1998.
Comments must be filed in accordance with the requirements set forth in 47   C.F.R.    76.1502(e).  DBOVS'
