TIME WARNER CABLE SEEKS COMMISSION APPROVAL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION
OF UNIFORM RATE STRUCTURES FOR ITS ROCHESTER AND FINGER LAKES, NEW
                          YORK SYSTEMS
                                
     The Commission has received petitions from Time Warner Cable requesting that the Commission
approve the cable operator's implementation of a uniform rate setting methodology for its Rochester and
Finger Lakes, New York cable television systems, pursuant to the Report and Order in CS Docket No. 95-
174, 12 FCC Rcd 3425 (l997) and Section 76.922(n) of the Commission's rules.  (See the attached list for
the communities served by each system.)  The petitions also request that the Commission retroactively
approve the uniform rate setting methodology used for the systems, as both systems implemented such
uniform rates structures on January 1, l997.   

     The petitions are available for public inspection in the Cable Services Bureau Public Reference
