                   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR
         PUBLIC INSPECTION ON ADELPHIA COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION
                        CABLE SERVICE TIER RATES

     Adelphia Communications Corporation ("Adelphia") has forwarded to the Federal
Communications Commission ("Commission") a Proposed Resolution to resolve complaints filed
against Adelphia regarding the rates charged for cable programming service offerings.  At issue
are 66 complaints filed against Adelphia covering the period September 1, 1993 through
December 31, 1995.  These cases involve approximately 320,000 subscribers.  The Commission
has approved sending this proposal to the complaining parties for comment.  The Commission
will consider the proposal for approval after evaluating public comment. 

     In the context of discussions with the Commission regarding the resolution of the issues
raised by the complaints, Adelphia provided the Commission with new written information. 
Pursuant to 47 C.F.R.  1.1204(b)(7), the Commission has determined that service of this material
on all parties to the proceeding would be unduly burdensome because of the number of parties
involved.  Thus, this notice is being issued in lieu of service for the purpose of notifying the
public that copies of the new materials submitted by Adelphia are included in the record of the
proceedings and are available for public inspection in the Cable Services Bureau's public
reference room, Room 333 at 2033 M Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
