By the Acting Chief, Cable Services Bureau:

     The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking ("Notice") in the above-captioned proceeding required that
reply comments related to Sections III and V of the Notice (i.e., retransmission consent election process and
administrative matters) be filed on February 20, 2000.  The National Association of Broadcasters ("NAB")
has requested an extension until March 3, 2000 of the reply comment deadline with respect to these
sections.  NAB's request is granted. Accordingly, reply comments related to Sections III and V of the
Notice are now due on or before March 3, 2000.
