                             ORDER

       Adopted:  February 7, 2000           Released:  February 10, 2000

By the Chief, Consumer Protection and Competition Division, Cable Services Bureau:

          1.   On December 8, 1999, Paragon Cable Los Angeles ("Paragon") filed with the Commission a
          petition to withdraw its Petition for Review from a local rate order adopted by the City of
          Torrance, CA on April 28, 1998.    In its pleading, Paragon states that the disputed issues relating
          to the appeal are now moot and ask that the Petition for Review filed in the above captioned
          community on May 28, 1998 be dismissed. 
          2.   Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that Paragon's Petition for Withdrawal of Appeal IS
          GRANTED and the Petition for Review IS DISMISSED.
          3.   This action is taken pursuant to authority delegated by Section 0.321 of the Commission's Rules. 
          47 C.F.R.  0.321.
