On August 30, 1999, TCI Cablevision of St. Louis, Inc. ("TCI-SL") and the City of St. Louis, Missouri ("City") jointly moved to terminate Commission review of a local rate order in the above captioned proceeding without benefit of substantive Commission review. TCI-SL had filed an appeal on July 8, 1996 from a local rate order adopted by the City on June 7, 1996. The Cable Services Bureau ("Bureau") released a Memorandum Opinion and Order, DA 97-2099 (September 29, 1997), denying TCI-SL's appeal and TCI- SL filed a Petition for Reconsideration of the Bureau's order on August 30, 1999. TCI-SL also filed a request for stay on December 2, 1997. TCI-SL and the City withdraw all such appeals, stay requests, and the petition for reconsideration, as well as all subsequent filings related to this proceeding. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Joint Motion to Withdraw Appeals of Local Rate Orders filed by TCI Cablevision of St. Louis, Inc. and the City of St. Louis, MO IS GRANTED and the appeal, petition for reconsideration and emergency stay request filed by TCI-SL ARE DISMISSED. 3.
