TCI Cablevision of Central Connecticut, Inc., TCI Cablevision of Northwestern Connecticut, and TCI Cablevision of South Central Connecticut, Inc., (collectively "TCI-C") filed with the Commission on July 22, 1996 and March 21, 1997 appeals of three local rate Decisions ("the Orders"). The three orders on appeal are Docket Nos. 94-06-29 and 94-06-30 both adopted on June 20, 1996, and a consolidated appeal of Docket Nos. 96-01-11, 96-01-14, 96-01-15, 96-01-16, and 96-01-17 adopted on February 19, 1997 respectively by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control ("DPUC"). TCI-C also filed Requests for Emergency Stay of each of the rate orders. The rate orders established new regulated rates for equipment and installation and required TCI-C to implement certain rate reductions and issue refunds to subscribers. 2. In a Motion to Withdraw Appeals of Local Rate Orders filed on June 30, 1999, TCI-C and the DPUC together ask that the three appeals filed on July 22, 1996 and March 21, 1997, as well as the related Request for Emergency Stays filed in connection with each appeal, and all subsequently filed pleadings related to these proceeding be withdrawn and dismissed without benefit of substantive Commission review. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Motion to Withdraw Appeals of Local Rate Orders filed by TCI Cablevision of South Central Connecticut, Inc., TCI Cablevision of Central Connecticut, Inc., and TCI Cablevision of Northwestern Connecticut and the State of Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control IS GRANTED and the Appeals and Requests for Emergency Stay filed by TCI-C ARE DISMISSED. 4.
