TCI Cablevision of Washington, Inc. ("TCI-W" or the "Company") filed with the Commission on July 20, 1995, September 18, 1996, and March 19, 1998 appeals of three local rate orders ("the Orders"). The three rate orders on appeal are Ordinance No. 2068 adopted on June 20, 1995, Ordinance No. 2121 adopted on August 19, 1996, and Ordinance No. 2179 adopted on February 18, 1998 respectively by the City of Issaquah, Washington ("the City"). TCI-W also filed Requests for Emergency Stay of each of the local rate orders. The rate orders established new regulated rates for basic cable service and associated equipment. Specifically the City's rate orders required TCI-W to implement certain rate reductions and to issue refunds to subscribers 2. In a Joint Motion to Withdraw Appeals of Local Rate Orders filed on February 24, 1999, TCI- W and the City together ask that the three appeals filed on July 20, 1995, September 18, 1996, and March 19, 1998, as well as the related Request for Emergency Stays filed in connection with each appeal, and all subsequently filed pleadings related to these proceeding be withdrawn and dismissed without benefit of substantive Commission review. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Joint Motion to Withdraw Appeals of Local Rate Orders filed by TCI Cablevision of Washington, Inc. and the City of Issaquah, Washington IS GRANTED and the appeals and emergency stay requests filed by TCI-W ARE DISMISSED. 4.
