On September 1, 1995, Long Beach Acquisition Corporation ("Long Beach"), filed an appeal of a local rate order adopted by the City of Signal Hill, California ("City") on August 1, 1995. In its rate order, the City established Long Beach's rates for basic service and associated equipment and required Long Beach to refund overcharges to subscribers. 2. On September 16, 1998, Long Beach filed a request to withdraw its appeal, stating that the parties have resolved this matter and that further Commission action regarding this matter is no longer necessary. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Request to Withdraw filed by Long Beach IS GRANTED and the September 1, 1995 appeal IS DISMISSED. 4.
